Straight Cutting Torch

Can One cut sheet metal having a gas torch?

Very very small workspace.

*

1/8 inch thick steel sheet, unsure from the guage, but under 16

*

Creating a solo chair pan for any custom chopper.

*

Can One cut the sheet having a gas torch that exist around $40 in your own home Depot?

*

Otherwise, what will be the least expensive way using what tool? Please no shears, that will require sometime doing “cut right, cut left, cut straight”

a gas torch won’t have the ability to get hot enough to chop the sheetmetal, use a jig saw having a metal cutting edge, or perhaps a die grinder having a stop wheel
