Oxygen Acetylene Regulator

Jul 15, 2011

Do OXYGEN & ACETYLENE Regulaters are available in diferent dimensions or could they be standard?

Im searching to purchase some Oxy. Ace. Regulaters and that i do not have any tanks to use them yet. Must I purchase the tanks first the the government bodies or perhaps is it one size for those regulaters? Thanks

All gas tanks possess a specific regulator to suit them. Regulator fixtures are catorgorized through the letters “CGA” as well as other amounts: 580, 590, 330, 350, 660 etc. Some regulator fixtures are male threads, some female threads. Some are regular-threaded, plus some are reverse-threaded. The kind of regulator needed to suit your tank is going to be placed somewhere about the tank. You’ll be able to speak to your gas supplier prefer a regulator.

Basically remember properly, acetylene cylnders (large ones a minimum of) make use of a CGA 300 regulator. Oxygen government bodies vary with respect to the size the tank. Be certain whenever using acetylene and oxygen to obtain BRASS government bodies. Brass fixtures will not spark if struck, while steel sometimes will.
