Can auto darkening welding headgear hurt your vision?

Does the glass even if obvious safeguard your vision compleatly or does the fraction of the second darkening time burn your vision. May be the darkening just for blocking out vibrant non-harmful light?

Nearly all auto darkening contacts safeguard you against the ultra violet sun rays. I only say most because you do not know when the cheapy more recent hoods are ultra violet ranked. The title brand hoods like Jackson, Speedglas, Hobart, yet others do. Company they safeguard you against the “expensive” too. The Speedglas hood alterations in 1/500th of the second with this even just in the least heavy shade you’re still protected against the ultra violet sun rays if it doesn’t change. The vibrant light isn’t what affects your vision it’s the ultra violet sun rays.
